As a fund raiser for the Tulsa Committee of the Oklahoma Centennial, the Centennial Spirit Pole has been created. Its purpose is to:

• help fund projects and activities to commemorate our state's one-hundredth birthday
• to raise awareness of this historic event in a grand and exciting style.

The Spirit Pole symbolizes our colorful Native American heritage, the oil gushers that built our state,
our reach for the skies through aerospace and our passion for the arts, all of which inspire our spirit of
achievement and optimism. They are 16 feet tall with 78 inch colorful swirling ribbons. Constructed of an aluminum alloy they are made to last, while the concrete footing extends four feet to provide stability.

The cost of a Spirit Pole is $10,000 which includes installation. Payment schedules can be arranged. The Tulsa Arts Commission and the Tulsa Park Board have both approved the design, so if needed, your Centennial Spirit can be displayed in a public park. Each Spirit Pole will also have a donor plaque to identify the sponsor.
